Despite all that he clearly has a pretty good handle on engineering and is definitely involved. He’s not just a figurehead.
as far as I’ve read he actually doesn’t, he just pretends to. You can see this in a lot of his interactions with his employees and the public. but yes, people are multidimensional. musk is a good salesman.
this is clearly reductionist. you can inherit that money and then utilize it effectively by donating it without destroying your ability to raise more money for donating. donating all your money means you have no investments to raise more money for donating. governments don’t do this, their goal is to spend taxpayer money to make the world a better place, while billionaires can only do the same if they keep an income stream.
we had to invent /s because subtle sarcasm isn’t obvious. This wasn’t subtle. It was blatant, incredibly clear sarcasm. Poes law is talking about you in this situation. And the jk didn’t matter. they told you in their first reply to you
Um, you’re taking my comment way too seriously. I replied to a cartoon picture. I literally just made up a silly explanation that would fit the photos. Please take a deep breath and go touch some grass.
And then you proceeded to double down even harder on believing it wasn’t sarcasm. I’m guessing you were just having a terrible day so shake it off and move on.
I also haven’t read the hundreds of pages, but it was a simple search away (either a search engine or literally just typing ‘tariff’ into the PDF). You said something that wasn’t true and didn’t bother to check if it was accurate before hand, and it was kind of the base “fact” of your entire post.
I do appreciate that you’re willing to come in here and actually discuss your viewpoint, which is why I tried to react quite neutrally. I would appreciate continuing the conversation because I do wonder if that revelation has changed your view that trump has no ties to P25.
P25 literally does have stuff on tariffs and it’s exactly what is happening right now.
It starts on page 765. https://static.project2025.org/2025_MandateForLeadership_FULL.pdf Like literally the entire section from page 765-783 are just about tariffs and how high to increase them.
And an article discussing it https://seekingalpha.com/article/4769053-what-project-2025-tells-us-about-what-will-happen-tariffs-april-2
You’re right I haven’t heard of that model, but NASA has documented pretty well that it follows waterfall. https://appel.nasa.gov/2018/11/27/spotlight-on-lessons-learned-aligning-system-development-models-with-insight-approaches/
pretty sure they’re saying waterfall for building a rocket because that’s literally how NASA builds a rocket, including the software. It’s terrible for building anything other than a rocket though, because the stakes aren’t high for most other projects, at least not in the way that a critical mistake will be incredibly bad.
It does, I’ve linked the exact section before, but I’m not the person you responded to. Just open the p25 document and search tariff.
