The court can hold anyone in contempt, can order anything, can moan and bitch about constitutional crisis till the end of days. It won’t matter if the people who have to uphold those rulings are the people against whom those rulings are made and will simply ignore it.
Rule of law is is just a strong as the people who enforce it.
A switch shuts the supply to the socket. Even after unplugging the socket does have electric supply, i.e. it is live. If any metallic object is inserted into the live socket it can give you a worse shock. Since the voltage supply in UK is 220V not 110V.
Shutter inside is much safer than button but is slightly costlier.
I feel this is why GPL exists, corporations are wary of copying it or forking it. It is very restrictive, you shouldn’t use it if you don’t care if the forked project doesn’t attribute you or doesn’t contribute anything upstream.
