If I had known how bad it’d get I would’ve chosen a different field to work in. Sure, I can avoid it in my private life but on the job it’s like I’m in some kind of hostage situation.

We’ll push two updates per day because our unpaid interns are so agile. Bugs? Oh, no, we call those ‘micro disruptions’. They’re a feature but don’t cost extra! How much the license costs? It seems like their maths won’t check out. They already estimate 66% of current residents to move on to other facilities (guess they don’t have licensed care takers as relatives to take them all in), yet seem to calculate with saving all the costs. Ultimately they’ll push more work towards the other facilities without any intention of financing additional staff which will not work in the long run.

It do be like that. Many of them get repeated till they reach a critical point and everyone is sick of them. Some of them are harder to tolerate than others though. I can deal with people ‘checking notes’ here and there but those who use “literally” as every second word in their sentences awaken a primal rage inside of me that is yearning for rock to split skull. Luckily that trend isn’t as prevalent as it used to be back in the day.

I remember back in the day in history class we’d discuss if murdering a tyrant is morally wrong and how it should be treated by the law. The class pretty much agreed if you 360 quick tomahawk someone who causes millions of deaths it’s fair game.

I always found it interesting how Scandinavians celebrate their viking past. Viking culture in general is rather popular even though the core of their identity was pillaging and raping people. My best guess is that it’s a mixture of distance (time) and vibes. Dropped some bombs and killed 3000 people? On to the next news. Flew some planes into a few buildings and cause the same amount of deaths? Never forgetti.

From my understanding it’s a very poor nation with a deeply corrupt leadership. Said leaders are taking the opportunity to make money from industrialized incarceration without any oversight. The US president is openly breaking the law by deporting people there but has nothing to worry about anyway because the harshest form of protest the american people can think of is a passive aggressive tweet (that will generate ad revenue for the biggest monetary Trump supporter). The best part of this is that once people are there he can just raise his hands and say “well I can’t get them back, they’re outside the US!”

That sucks. I’d hate to waste so much time and energy commuting every day.

Checked the article because I was wondering what the actual cause of death was and it turns out they just wave everything through as natural causes. They’re being straight up murdered. Lovely.

You really don’t. Apart from the core things that you’d hear despite any filter you could possibly implement, most of it is just noise to “flood the zone” as they call it.
