Israeli officials are facing backlash after years of Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu quietly allowing Hamas to remain in power.

But reporting in the New York Times has revealed that Netanyahu’s government was more hands-on about helping Hamas: they helped a Qatari diplomat bring suitcases of cash into Gaza, indirectly boosting the militant organization, according to the report.

The calculus — the Times reported on Sunday, citing Israeli officials, Netanyahu’s critics, and the man’s own reported statements — was to keep Hamas strong enough to counteract the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, allowing Netanyahu to avoid a two-state peace solution and keep both sides weak.

Israeli security officials got it wrong; they didn’t think Hamas was capable, or even interested, in launching a large attack against the Jewish state.

Oh if you want proof, the idf posted a video of going through the bombed schools and went through the books. Vids before oct 7 actually interviewed the kids and asked them what they learned and it was pretty much “eradicate jews”

You are extremely delusional to believe that the idf is equivalent to alex jones in terms of veracity. And just to make it clear, the idf is also more honest than hamas

Edit: also nice anti semitism by equating an israeli defense force to one of the most conspiracy addled anti semitic people out of there

The idf is the most reliable source of information there. You might as well not believe or comment on the conflict at all if you don’t trust any IDF correspondence

Doesnt matter what anyone here thinks. The truth can be unpopular. Israel will continue defending itself, and yall cant do shit to stop it. Keep crying because the terrorists that you support keep losing.

You’re an idiot if you think that criticism of Biibi or IDF actions equates to supporting Hamas. I get that you like one side of the conflict but don’t assume that because others dislike the mass killing of civilians that means that they support terrorists.
