The difference is that my opinion doesn’t get shared by The Guardian as if it was of any importance.
For good reason. But unlike you, she is relevant.
Except that… She isn’t.
The only thing that makes her a public figure right now is the fact that she’s the daughter of a man that wasn’t part of her life. Remove that and her opinion on his Nazi salute is no more important than yours or mine.
We shouldn’t give attention to people whose only “credentials” is being someone’s kid (especially if they don’t personally know them anyway), it gives importance to something that doesn’t say anything about their character or knowledge. She’s not inheriting anything from him, she’s irrelevant in humanity’s history, just like you and me. She was pushed at the front of the scene for reasons she has no control over and that aren’t relevant in her everyday life.
Now, show me she actually knows something about Nazis and that she has credentials to make her opinion worthy of being shared in the news and I’ll shut up, until then I would much rather see the news relay the opinion of experts instead of the opinion of social media influencers.

Seriously? … it’s an article that is simply stating that his own daughter agrees with the experts. Why is this such a fucking problem for you?

Personally, I think laughing at someone for being butthurt about an article that uses Elon’s daughter as a reference to lend credibility to Elon Musk being a fucking Nazi is less pathetic than someone being butthurt about an article that uses Elon’s daughter as a reference to lend credibility to Elon Musk being a fucking Nazi.
But that is just my personal opinion.
My point from the get go is that it doesn’t add any credibility to it because she’s got no expertise on either Nazis or Musk (having not had him in her life as he was an absent father).
