Lawmakers in Iraq are proposing amendments to the country’s Personal Status Law that could allow marriage for girls as young as 9.

There was a post by someone else covering pretty much the same today, but sadly it was removed by mods for “low credibility source”. Which is a shame because there was a lot of discussion. But hey, rules are rules, so here it is from a credible source.

    the ones who voted for this law were all men. rich men who want to fuck kids are the ones who get elected to govern our society…
