Hardware stores might have cheap gel knee pads ($10 -> $40 for fancier ones)
There’s also these kneeling mats / pads
Hadn’t heard of reiverr, you like it?
I’ve been toying with the idea of creating a file-arr for analyzing disk usage, performing common operations, and exposing a web-based upload/download client so I don’t have to mount the volume everywhere.
That’d be cool. There’s one that does transcoding and another that does unzipping
Unquestionably Golang if those are the two options. It’ll give you a much better base to work with if you are still earlier in your career and is much more applicable to a lot of things.
Elixir is niche, the syntax doesn’t share a lot of patterns with other languages, and no one is hiring for it. Also few people know it.
I want to caveat my answer with that I personally really like elixir, and would prefer to work with it myself over golang for some types of problems. Actor patterns are really cool.
Listen. Some of us are looking forward. To the Future. The future of pulling out of that parking spot. Not my fault if you stuck in the rear-view, my guy.
It’s called Fancy Parking, sweetie. Look it up 💅
You can have a switch such that you use “Shore Power” / the grid when your batteries are low and your batteries when they are full.
For anyone interested: I absolutely do not recommend as a DIY project, hire an electrician. You will kill yourself by stopping your heart or burn your house down. Or both. At the same time.
From bulletin board experiences back in the aughts - I don’t know how this wasn’t a similar problem? If it was a recent thread - it got interaction. I think that had the benefit of not having a “front page” so you could see 10 or 20 posts for each sub-forum. Which is similar enough to just going to a subreddit and looking at the most recent posts - but most folks, I think, don’t interact like that with these types of interfaces unless they have a specific thing to look for?
Oh that’s what that is 😅 I have that a bunch - was hard to describe as it’s not sleep paralysis. It’s often… confusing… and occasionally disturbing but I’m a bit used to it at this point. It is so weird how it persists until the lights come on
I sat bolt upright in the middle of the night one time talking to the wall, kinda grumpily, and my partner was really disturbed… trying to explain to her that the customs officer wanted something didn’t really help that much.
Seeing bed bugs all over my whole body and everywhere in a grungy motel was pretty disturbing. And a hooded man in the corner, staring, during the middle of the night in a new persons’ bed.
Generally, blockchain is really only helpful in very specific scenarios
