Summary

Andrew and Tristan Tate have left Romania for the US after officials lifted their travel ban.

The brothers, arrested in 2022, face charges of rape, human trafficking, and money laundering but were granted temporary permission to travel.

Romania’s government denies US interference, though reports suggest Trump’s envoy discussed their case. The Tates, also wanted in the UK for past allegations, must return for a March court hearing.

Prosecutors accuse them of exploiting women through the “loverboy” method and profiting millions from forced pornography. Both deny all charges.

Can’t say I’m surprised. There were credible rumous that the US pressured our gvt to release them. Word on the street is that they “traded” handing these two over in exchange for the US shutting up about the arrest of the russian puppet candidate. These both happened in the same day, so there may some truth to that. Honestly this wouldn’t feel like that bad of a deal - one manchurian candidate for two instagram pimps. It’s immoral, cowardly and corrupt, but these are the times we’re living in.

Just remember this every time a US official blabbers stuff about other countries’ election interference.

It’d be a real shame if the Uber they pick up at the airport spun out and hit a bridge embankment before bursting into flames with the driver miraculously escaping unharmed.

Well fuck this all to hell. They both deserve to be underneath the jail and there is so much evidence to prove their guilt. Just disgusting.

“Travel” 😉 I’m sure they’ll be back for the trial

    I don’t understand this.

Venezuelans escaping from a communist dictator: ❌ Fuck them, send back to their country where they will be tortured and imprisoned

    Same for Haitians

A serial rapist that boasts and is proud to be a serial rapist: ✔️ Yes please, we like people like this

Republicans and Trump are evil pieces of shit, which means they will do the absolute worst thing possible every time.

You can talk about Trump liking them because they are fellow child-rapists, but the reality is, that isn’t enough. Trump doesn’t care about anyone but himself. For his administration to go to the effort to help this scum escape prosecution, there has to be something in it for Trump or someone high up enough in the administration to convince him it should be done.

The tricky part is figuring out which of the many child-rapists in the current regime was the one who cared enough.

If it makes you any consolation, these people are absolutely miserable on the inside. I recently read a transcript of one of them speaking with an officer and I had to stop counting the amount of psychological red flags. They are suffering on the inside. I mean they need to be in jail too because their actions are affecting others too, but at least I can sleep at night knowing they’re fucking miserable.

I’ll try and find the transcript when I get home from work, but it went something like this:

Investigator: Could you explain why there are allegations of abuse coming from your workers?

Tate: Oh they’re just saying all that stuff because they’re jealous of me (textbook case of projection; i.e. he is an incredibly jealous person, and so views the actions of others through his own lens; he has a very weak “frame of mind” if you will)

I remember it was full of stuff like this. Jealousy, envy, projection, playing the victim (at multiple points he literally expressed himself as the one who is being victimized by this whole situation), overcompensation, defensiveness…I mean you name it and it was there. You could take a psychology course in just this one interview with the investigator and you could learn quite a bit.

Edit: I should say too that I really struggle to have empathy for those who take their own suffering and promulgate it among those around them (the Tate’s for example). It demonstrates incredibly weak and poor character, and in my opinion (and with working with many, MANY people like this), it is almost impossible for them to get help. They almost never recognize themselves at fault (since they have a superiority complex), and so are incapable of taking that first step towards getting the necessary psychological support needed.

If they don’t want help, fine. Shove these types of people away from society so they don’t make it other people’s problems. They can fester in their own suffering for all I care, as long as it’s far away from others.

I don’t think it’s unfair to have those kinds of feelings towards incredibly toxic people. The first step to treating mental illness is being aware of the issue. Good luck getting a malignantly narcissistic pieces of shit like the Tate brothers to be aware of anything except their bank accounts.

I remember seeing an interview with him and he had the most expensive TV he could find in his mansion but he never watched it, and that was the perfect summary of his values to me - vapidly pursuing status while not actually being fulfilled in the slightest.

Yup. I’d feel bad for him if he wasn’t also ruining the lives of others as well. For that, I have zero empathy towards.

Republicans are all about hating and abusing women these days. That and greed. The Tates will be hailed as heroes for their raping and trafficking, and for profiting off it.
