Your father appears to be loaded
Who needs that many clothes, and that wardrobe is massive!? 😱
Surely it must take him half a year before he has to wear something again
So now you ruined his system, and he can’t find anything anymore?
/s
Somewhere in this thread there is a new yorker or college student that is weeping right now. That appears to be larger than some dorm rooms and “budget” apartments.
Step 1: be rich
He’s got more clothes than I think I’ve ever owned in my entire life.
Anyone with a closet like that is no friend of mine
This is something I aspire to. I have little space, and use it so badly.
If you have this kinda money, just hire someone to help you.
@punnyname@lemmy.world I definitely don’t have that kind of money lol.
Get your son to do it for you!
@donuts@lemmy.world don’t got any of those.
We just moved some months ago. Still gotta put things in the proper place. A pile of boxes in the shed isn’t “organized.” 🫠
I somewhat recently moved too, so I definitely hear you. It’s been a bit of a process. Good luck to you getting settled in.
Damn, that’s one closet I wouldn’t mind not getting out of
Experts believe that so far only 15% of your father’s closet has been explored. Some believe that there’s an uncontacted tribe living in there, that’s never seen a white man before
I’m a slob. This is beautiful. I’m also from poor roots so this is just insanely big.
Congrats on your dad for being successful, but ONLY if he doesn’t show it off to everyone who comes by ;-)
wow haha, how cool to see you flaunt your “dad’s” obscene wealth. Bet you’re also autistic and don’t get why no one would want to see this.
I get your feeling but certainly I would not mind having that much clothes. Well I dunno a lot of it looks the same but storage at least. I mean if I had the money I would do something like this. I would have a bigger home. I mean there is a difference between doing well and even being a millionaire and obscene billionaire I could not spend it if I tried wealth.
Why does one need 30+ black T-shirts?
They probably have prints on them. I have 10 black shirts, 10 navy, etc. They’re not the same because they have different stuff on them.
I had a friend whos main thing was going to see new bands playing live. As part of it he would almost always buy a t-shirt if they sold them and they almost always were black t-shirst with a print of the bands thing.
Just waiting for someone to come along and say they are all slightly different colors.
What’s the island for? His watch collection?
For when you’re walking from one end to the other and need a quick rest. It has water, emergency rations and a radio if you are lost and require rescue
It used to be, but now it’s just decorative after a housekeeper stole some stuff. They’re now in the valuables vault (watches, jewelry, special clothes and shoes, etc).
How do I get in the valuables safe and that housekeeper was simply balancing the scales.
Okay, this comment pushed me over into fully supporting the “obscene wealth” comments. Not only does he have a giant closet filled with a ridiculous amount of clothing, he also has a watch collection, a housekeeper, and a valuables vault for special clothes and jewelry?!
Obscene.
If you think that’s obscene wealth, you’ve never in life seen real wealth.
Yeah that’s pretty ridiculous. I’ve seen some walk-in closets that are pretty big like this, but not quite on this level.
And no fucking vault for shit. Maybe a small safe.
OP you should prob be careful on Lemmy lol
Is your father a footballer? The large amount of cleats says he runs on grass a lot.
No, but soccer is his favorite sport to play for fun.
An American. That’s still just a huge waste of money, nobody needs that many clothes and shoes.
What’s being an American got to do with it?
I can assure you there are plenty of Americans just as “wasteful”, and plenty of non-americans who would view it as wasteful as well.
Nothing at all, just noticing the difference in calling of a sport
