What’s our problem, Canada?
The yapping dog of American Empire.
Even more than it used to be. Canadian foreign policy regarding Iraq, Vietnam, and Cuba took a very different position to the US and was on the whole quite good (for a western country). But that was all decades ago. Practically speaking, Canada no longer has its own independent foreign policy.
I mean, we’re still friends with Cuba, and never did get involved in Iraq which wasn’t so long ago.
Don’t want to piss off the downstairs neighbours.

Even Europe and Oceania is onboard with this one, though. Don’t they usually abstain at least?
