Gaza aid stuck as Egypt says Israel not cooperating

Egypt said on Monday that Israel was not cooperating with delivery of aid into Gaza and evacuations of foreign passport holders via the only entry it does not wholly control, leaving hundreds of tonnes of supplies stuck.

      My understanding is they’d need Israeli cooperation to ensure the area Gaza-side would be safe from bombardment.

        Do you have a source for this? Everything I’ve read has stated that that border is controlled by Egypt and Hamas.

      They bombed the crossing once. They can and will do it again to enforce their blockade.
