A Conservative MP is giving up his seat to allow Pierre Poilievre to run in a byelection after Prime Minister Mark Carney said he’d be ready to call one “as soon as possible.”

    If it was the other way around he’d never let Carney hear the end of it - “Carney, the guy who had to get someone else to quit in order to keep his seat”.

    Politicians gonna politics, no surprise there.
