It takes 3 years of recession to become a depression. It won’t be declared before the midterms, and I hope it doesn’t happen at all, but those chickens may come home to roost right as the next presidential election starts to get into full swing.
Thing is, the economic indicators will still be there.
If there’s been two full years of recession because of GOP policies, what do you think the odds are they’ll go into a third year if the GOP is allowed to stay in power?
No doubt, it’s just the “D” word wouldn’t be official until, oh, about the 2028 presidential conventions.
