Not quite. No presidential candidate got a majority of the popular vote. Trump got more of the popular vote than Kamala did. 49.80% and 48.33% respectively.

The correct phrasing would be that he received a plurality of votes.
Well yeah but basically every candidate gets more than one vote so getting a plurality doesn’t mean much
I suspect this was sarcasm but… A “plurality of votes” means “more than the other candidates”.
