What is it and can you pet it?
A nyala, according to other comments and as confirmed by Wikipedia.
Can’t really pet them, they (these ones, anyway) are quite docile but can be dangerous if you’re not careful. They’re very strong, and to be honest not really good to pet because the hair is coarse and hard.
