My dad’s conservative friends still insist (as of today) that Project 2025 is just liberal propaganda and it doesn’t really exist. These people are immune to reality.
No one is immune to reality for ever. And reality tends to bite back harder, the longer one ignores it.
I wonder if they’re immune to polio and civil war.
They probably did get the polio vaccine because their parents knew people who had polio.
Fortunately, civil war requires people taking action in-person, so it’s likely not going to happen.
Reality usually kicks people right in the balls if they ignore it. Hope they enjoy the ride as much as we do.
They will never connect their misfortune with their own actions. Evey problem is the fault of democrats, the woke mob or immigrants. Prices high? Thanks Biden. Lost my Social Security? Trump wouldn’t have killed it if it weren’t for all those immigrants defrauding the system. And so on. They will suffer and use their suffering to justify hurting marginalized groups.
