Oh thats a good idea! Friend of mine and i got a big foam target that is basically one big foam block, but this might be easier to fix after a long time of usage!

Yep, those targets works very well. The bow is maxed out at 42#

I dont use a compound bow thoughYou can usually draw a significantly heavier compound than recurve or longbow, because the weight drops off when the bow is fully drawn.
I would say that most regular adults would be able to draw a 42# compound with no prior training.
I used to shoot a 65#, but at my age it is starting to mess up my shoulders and I struggle to draw back properly more than 30 arrows or so. The 42 is a joy to shoot, I can shoot all day!
