Why would you feel better about the USA when the USA are who have fostered, enabled and defended these attitudes for 70 years now?
Well, I’m thinking that the percentage of Americans who would approve of this is lower. That’s it.
Eh, Abu Ghraib had its share of supporters. No one stormed any prisons, but still.
Not a majority of aupporters.
