Average doesn’t have to be in the middle. You’ve probably meant “median”
I mean… Median is a type of average, just because I wasn’t being specific doesn’t mean I was wrong
Intelligence (and I don’t mean IQ but intelligence as an abstract trait) is probably normally distributed just like the vast majority of other biological traits, so the mean is the median
In other words, and less often repeated, “half of them are smarter than that!”
