Surely you consider yourself to be a better person than Trump, right? So don’t use his shitty behavior to excuse your own.
I want to be a better person than my enemies, but I make an exception for my conduct towards them specifically. Nobody ever won a fight by being nice, and I have no moral qualms about wishing for someone to reap what they so relentlessly sow.
