“Sober as a cat” is a funny expression, because they’re the only type of pet I can think of that gets drugs (catnip) for fun.
I agree about presidential drug testing though.
“Sober as a cat” is a a funny expression if you have played “Dwarf Fortress” for some time. They had a strange bug once about cats being so drunk that they died.
