Taken back in June after the rains receded enough to be walkable. The lakeside trail itself was still swallowed.

No wonder that trail is closed, I had no idea and was salty when my running route got diverted
I bet below the waterline, after bicycles, it says “fish” and “submarines”.
Well those are some pretty wet lands over there I’ll give it that
I believe they have been successfully preserved.
